Stop getting ready or preparing to be a writer. There is not such a thing. Start right now writing one page per day. Eventually you will have an entire book and if you think you are not good writing. Doesn't matter, the important thing is the content, then you can hire an editor and a proofreader to make it great.

For me, it is the fact that you open yourself to the world. People can know what is going on inside you by reading what you write. You never know how many people you can influence with your ideas.

I don't. The more I try to deal with it the harder it becomes. It helps to meditate and clear my mind, then I read a book related to what I am writing and then new ideas come.
