Whenever I get an idea to write something, it's always when I'm zoning out somewhere. I'm in my car, in the shower, doing dishes. I've even had a few ideas trying to go to sleep in bed. When my brain is calm and open to fun and zany ideas. I try and replicate those conditions if I'm faltering on ideas and creativity.

I eat cookie dough. I don't know why, but it works every time. I start eating the sweet goodness and the ideas just start to flow.

I'm currently working on the second book in the "My Girl series." It's Evie's story. She's a firecracker. I love writing what goes on in her feisty brain. It's so much fun.
