'The Secret Page' was inspired by one of the dreams I kept in a journal (that's right, a "dream journal"). As I was deciding where to start with my first, full-length novel; I thumbed through my dream journal and there it was. The story, of course, is far more involved than the dream itself - but that was the seed that grew.

Make sure your characters are well developed, unique and believable. The best plots can fall flat if the reader cannot connect with the story's characters.
