I think one of the greatest mysteries has to do with life here and elsewhere. Are we alone? Where did we come from? For many years we have sought to answer these questions with religious explanations. It turns out though, we may not have been reading these explanations very accurately. I explore these ideas in a new book I'm writing, called "UFOs In The Bible", which pill be published in a few months.

I have never had a shortage of ideas. I started out writing songs and poetry. Sometimes an idea was so great I had to start a whole new band, just to pursue that one idea.
One thing that's really great about switching to fiction is how spacious it is. Especially after writing songs where you were limited to maybe two or three short verses to tell a story, because really, that is what a lot of songs are. So I guess I have worked on both extreme ends of the space spectrum, and honestly, they are both really fun for their own challenges.
I write because I like it. I write becasue I have to - I have ideas inside that NEED to get out.

The idea for 'Symphony Of Destruction' came out of my love for really bleak, moody sci-fi movies, like Alien and Moon, where you have a character all alone on a ship and bad stuff starts happening. I wanted to really dive into more of the emotional aspects of that feeling of isolation, to turn the story away from the monster, and toward the main character.

Right now I'm doing preparatory work for the rest of the Spindown Saga series. There will be a bit more of a technology focus than in book one, and I have a lot of technical details to work through from that perspective.
On top of that, I'm in the middle of coauthoring a dark dry comedy with my son, Solomon Goudsward, author of 'A Good Death To Self', plus an additional comedy novel.
