I deal with writer's block by reminding myself that perceived barriers often appear as consequences of my fears and apprehensions. I try to remember the possibilities that exist on the other side of those emotional and mental walls. Sometimes I walk away and exhale. Sometimes I sit until I can tap into my courage. Sometimes I take a nap. But most of the time I face my fears and write.
