I am not exactly sure on how long it took to write The Royal Tournament. I wrote it after a period in my life when I had stopped writing because life was getting in the way. When I decided to start writing again, I didn't want to jump back into The River Styx, which is now, Soul Forge, so I wrote a complementary story in an effort to get my skills back up,

Writer's block is just an excuse to not write. If the words aren't flowing easily, who cares. Write them anyway. If they are crap, that's what editing is for.

'Of Trolls and Evil Things' is currently with my Beta readers. It is scheduled for release in mid-November, 2017. 'Soul Forge,' the Epic Fantasy novel that ties these 2 novellas together is currently in the editing phase and is scheduled for release in mid-December. The sequel to 'Soul Forge,' 'The 13 Eyes of Helleden' is currently being written. I am about 7 chapters into the 1st draft.

I don't need inspiration. Some people watch characters on T.V. go through adventures, while I just sit in front of my computer and watch my characters have adventures of their own. I tag along and write down what I see.

The characters in The Royal Tournament are taken from the epic fantasy novel, 'Soul Forge,' to be released by mid-December, 2017. It is a story that takes place 25 years before Soul Forge and provides a nice backstory describing why the characters grew up to be who they are in the main novel.
