I was inspired by all the hoopla surrounding 2012 and started this book during that summer. I wrote off and on for the last five years, adding pieces as they came to me. Part 2 of the story happened in a quick few days this last summer and I literally had to write as fast as I could to keep up with the story.
The inspiration comes from all the little details of life. Anything that's happened in my life could end up in one of my novels.

I believe my stories already exist somewhere, out there in the aether, in the great super-consciousness. When it's time to tell a story I watch them develop in my mind and write down what I see. I never quite know when the inspiration will strike, but when it does I set everything aside and enjoy the story.

Exploring the magic of writing. It amazes me that I can put thoughts on paper and miles away someone else can read the marks I put on paper and have my thoughts in their head. That's magic.

Write what you want to read. When it comes time to publish your story you're going to read it over many, many times, so write something you love to read.

I don't believe in writer's block. I write my stories as they come to me. When the story isn't flowing, I wait until it does and then start writing again.
