I have been thinking about John Smith for many, many years. I believe he was a particularly significant person, to voyage along the unknown (for the English) New England coast in 1614. I have long wanted to re-create it, and finally this re-creation of his voyage is about to be published.

My re-creation of John Smith's voyage to New England in 1614 is soon to be published (in April). I am also writing a history of Bacone College, to be published by Indian University Press this summer, and I am beginning work on a historical portrayal and evocation of servants in colonial America, to be published by Praeger.
