(view spoiler)[The noise suddenly painfully loud, clanging metal mixed with the harsh cussing of a deep brawny voice startled the hell out of her, and the man was beyond angry as she grabbed a frozen chicken from the deep freeze, the cold searing the flesh of her hand as she returned to the room, cautiously slow. It was mid-afternoon, she wasn't expecting company and he wasn't usually home until after the dinner hour, but as she walked into the kitchen from the pantry, there he was, surrounded by pots, pans and cutlery, his suspenders no longer holding his beltless jeans where they should be, and her sink, cupboards and floor covered in grease from his semi truck engine's belly pan he planned on washing in her kitchen sink with a new dish cloth; the only thing she could do at the sight of her middle-aged and potbellied trucker of a husband, standing in the kitchen with his jeans around his ankles, kiss me boxers bagging above knobby knees, was set the frozen chicken on the table, slip her cell phone from her well-pressed apron pocket and take a photo to add to her "You won't believe what my husband just did, blog". There is a movie that plays within my mind. It's one that I can escape to when the real world becomes too much, or too little. I can make that imaginary world anything I wish it to be. It brings me joy in my heart, warmth of love around me, like the glowing warmth of a hot fire in subzero temperatures. Its my comfort zone.

(view spoiler)[If you think and feel a story within you, if you wake up and think about your imaginary characters, if you experience emotions, giggles, horror, or tears as you think of them and their situations or conditions - write it, hold it, be there, love them, and set them free - there is a moral there that must be told - so tell it. (view spoiler)[Book 2, although I am undecided yet as to which 'side plot' should be spoken next - The Buffalo and his yearning for love, the Knight Riders Law and their Shield, the evil of the Demons Den Gang, one of the 4 Families, or return to the beginning where it all started; the old men and old women who made promises that must be kept. My characters are always with me, teasing me with laughter, haunting me with tales of heart ache, soothing me with love and honesty, or bring tears of emotional fears, they are my friends, companions and believers in unconditional love.

It just came to me over time. Many of my imaginary childhood friends and/or visions over the years transformed into something wonderful.
