It's my first novel and some of it is mildly autobiographical but the main event at the beginning of the book is complete fiction. I have always been fascinated with stories when a regular, unknown person does something incredible and then has to face the reality of the world their action has created, be it fame, notoriety, wealth, etc.

Nothing groundbreaking, just the same advice my favorite writers have always given me: Dedicate time to write every day and keep at it, and read and absorb as much as you can, from books and the world around you.

The ability to detach yourself from the often terrifying, annoying and monotonous aspects of our world and create one to escape into. The fact that I seem to create ones that are filled with their own perils and depression apparently says something about my subconscious affection for those elements of life, however haha.

It's honestly not something that I have experienced that often, as my active, manic mind seems to have a wealth of ideas, and it's more about staying focused and motivated.
