Dean Rencraft Oh wow, part dreams, part imagination and part my daughter, who loves everything Wicca but was having a hard time finding the information she wanted.
Dean Rencraft I just think of where I want to go next in the story or what that character would do on her day off from the main 'quest'...

Writing is exhausting and at some point you're going to look at your script and say 'uh-uh, not today..' that's when I know I either need a day off or that my main character does... so I write in something fun, enhance the MC's personality, throw in a subplot.. those moments usually open up right back into the main plot when I am ready for them and usually add a lot to the overall story.
Dean Rencraft Writing my own stories and getting so caught up in them that the characters become as familiar and dear to me as my closest friends. We argue, we laugh, we whisper secrets in the dark... and I certainly spend more time with them than anyone else! ;)
Dean Rencraft Write in your own voice and at your own speed and never listen to anyone who tries to tell you different. One thing I have learned is that writer's are intensely vulnerable to their own self-doubt .. more than anyone else I have ever met.. try not to give into that and just stay focused on what you love!
Dean Rencraft Currently I am working on book two of the Elera series, which is called 'Covenant'- (due to be released in November of this year) and another new book name 'Evolution's Child', A full length modern thriller/romance/shifter book that should be released by the end of October and which has a little bit of something for everyone! :)
Dean Rencraft I've always loved to write! The idea for writing books opened with the new market for Indie publishing and I had been looking into it for years. When I lost most of my vision several years ago, I finally decided to pursue that goal but needed time to set up visual aids that would allow me to work efficiently. I started writing in August of this year and my first book was released on October 1st, with two more already well on their way to being finished. I haven't regretted one second of that time or investment, it's been a lot of fun, I've learned so much and met some amazing people!
