Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jane E.M. Atkinson My series follows the lives of two sisters. After writing book 12, about Valentine's Day, I needed an idea for March. I recalled my family's trip to Great Wolf Lodge during March Break. My daughters enjoyed the waterpark, but they loved Magic Quest. That gave me the beginning and end of the book, but I still needed a middle. After an author visit to my daughter's class, a few of the kids asked to have their names included in my next book. That's how I came up with all of the polar bear and penguin characters.
