I've never suffered from writer's block, know on wood. However, I would say read. And again, write anything. If you're stuck in your work in progress, get away from it and write something else. Watch movies and TV with good storytelling too.

Gothic horror and vampires have always been favorites. I always thought if I write a novel it would be a vampire story, and my main character would be a female vampire. I live in the SF Bay Area, so I married it all together.
