I'm glad you enjoyed Jack's adventure.
It looks like there will be two new books in this story, but there is still a lot of things I need to work through.
When I wrote the first novel, I had not intended to have a sequel, but I got a lot of requests. The first step was to put the other books I was working on in a state where I could pick them up after months (or likely a year+). The next step was figuring out what Jack's future would hold, and how that would play out in as realistic a fashion as I'm capable of laying out. That's when I ran into a spot of trouble. The logical thing for him to do was something that he really didn't want to do. After all the time I've spent with Jack, I didn't realize how stubborn he can be.
