Isabella Adams My imaginary friends continue carrying on conversations even once I think their story is done.
Isabella Adams A dream:) and then my best friend, who is a burlesque dancer in France. I had a dream about a dancer, dancing to Portishead, and when I woke up I shared it with my friend. Voila- Dancing For A Stranger was born.
Isabella Adams My dreams. Almost every single piece I have written started as a dream. Actually, I don't think there is one piece that did not come to me in a dream.
Isabella Adams A few things. The third work with Dr. Andie Markos and her friends, a sci-fi/fantasy piece that I started ten years ago, and a YA piece about a haunted house.
Isabella Adams Write. It sounds trite, but its true. Write at lunch, on a napkin, on the subway... just write. I used to write myself emails just so I would have it down somewhere.
Isabella Adams I tend to write nonsense, like an argument between my favorite characters. I can write a really good fight between a mother and a daughter. Its like art imitating life.
