Tracey Jerald There are secrets I keep buried deep inside for a reason. That being said, I've cracked open the door to that part of myself and let them escape on the pages of my books--to a degree.

No one, other than my family, will ever know the truth.
Tracey Jerald Terror washed through her as she frantically typed on the keyboard; it couldn't be. But the storms must have taken out the cloud back up servers -- it was all gone.
Tracey Jerald This is the hardest question in the WORLD for me. Do I go two-hundred years forward or back? I used to play dress-up as Laura Ingalls Wilder as a child; I had a whole setup in the basement of my home in Connecticut with old pots and pans. The strength of charachter women had in that time astounds me. It was quiet, but present. But now that I've read JD Robb's In Death series, I want an Auto Chef and the freedoms permitted to women. It's such a heady feeling.
Tracey Jerald I'm so excited for the new series by Kristen Ashley. I've been waiting for almost a year for it. I know it's been on Audible, but my day job precludes me from listening to audio books a lot. I was recently sent "Americanah" by author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie which I want to dive into as well as some autobiographies.

Tracey Jerald I can be in the middle of a walk with a song on repeat and think of a whole new book. I'll literally be in the middle of something (including sleep) and stop to take notes on my phone. Don't ask what I'll do at a concert ;) - LOL!
Tracey Jerald Writing is limitless. There are no real boundaries in writing other than those you set for yourself.
Tracey Jerald Purge your mind of the stories that are boiling up inside of you. Trust someone to read them and let them be honest when they do. Take constructive feedback and learn from it.
Tracey Jerald Recently, I've been taking my dog for a walk. I type and walk at the same time. I live in an area with a huge park, so while he pauses everywhere, I get a different perspective on my story.
Tracey Jerald I just started a my second standalone not related to the Amaryllis series. It is an emotional rollercoaster that is going to take readers on a wave of emotion from Charleston, SC to Europe and back.
