I'm a plantser. I usually start with an idea and a few scenes in my head, but don't have everything figured out. A few times I've started without knowing exactly how the story would end! I don't really recommend that. I have noticed the longer I write, the more I scribble down notes to help me remember what needs to come later in the story or details like eye color and middle names.

Probably the scene where they go to the school play together. Though I have quite a few other scenes I love too. Especially the final one, but I won't spoil it.

I've witnessed so many marriages go awry that shouldn't have. As Christians, we make a promise to God when we promise forever. Our society has forgotten that love is a choice and not just an emotion or feeling. Marriage takes work. But it's worth it. I wanted a story to portray all of that and give couples hope for their own marriages.

I do enjoy taking trips and seeing new places. As long as I always get to come home and sleep in my own bed again!
