Hmm...this is a tough one. On the fly, I'd have to say it was when I was driving backwards down the side of a mountain with no guardrails, on a dead-end one lane road, with 4 kids at sunset. Yep, it was one of the scariest times of my life!

Hello Amna,
Unfortunately, book 1 has been taken down for editing. Being my first book, I felt it could be strengthened. I've learned so much about writing since it was written.
My plan is to have it completed and to make it available in November. I hope you check back. I will also post an update on Goodreads.

Write, write, write! Yes, I hear you. How can I write with writer's block? Many very talented writers stress that you must write every day, if at all possible. It might not be good, but the key is to write something to get your creative juices flowing. Your best work is yet to come!

When the characters take control of the keyboard. For people who don't write I have no doubt that you're probably scratching your head in disbelief (like seriously). Trust me though, it really does happen for us writers/authors! There is no better feeling when our characters dictate how the story goes. This is when you know your book might just be good after all.

Two things. First and foremost, I'm editing book 3, LOVE'S DESIRE, with my editor. Second, I have a special project I"m working on. I'm not ready to share the exciting news just yet but I'm pretty confident everyone will love it! It's a book that is completely different from my series. I will tell you it is a standalone book. However, it may just warrant a spinoff book that will be another unexpected addition!

It may sound like a cliche but from everyday life. Writers are like giant sponges. We watch, listen and learn from daily events, whether from our own lives or from 'people watching' (yes, we do that quite frequently). I jot down, in numerous notebooks, anything different or intriguing. Sometimes the idea turns into something and other times, it is scratched through.

The overall plot for FINDING FAITH came from the main female character, Faith Roche. While trying to up my game, Faith took control of the keyboard and out came the suspenseful twist that unfolds as you get further into the book. The overall love story was planned before I finished book 1 but even I was surprised by the twist that evolves. (Note: All books in the series are standalone books.)
