Franklin Neal I got a small idea from my debut novel Rooks of the Raven. I was inspired to keep a unique trait within my characters. One of my characters is a mute so I thought it be a different to write about a blind character. The suspense of a blind character getting kidnapped lured me to keep that style.
Franklin Neal Like a forger, use your pen to carve a weapon. Use it as a weapon with intoxicating prose. Etch new life. Your words, your message should captivate, it allures. People will attack with negative comments, you have to get back up, keep writing. This is your story, your dream. My advice is, attack the genre you excel in. The ones you find yourself saying I could have done better or I’ve seen and read better books. Do not get discouraged always continue writing. For me, I like to talk about my books to close friends or family, it always gets me excited and inspire to continue writing. They sometimes ask questions about the book and that usually helps and gives great new perspective. Always persevere.
Franklin Neal I love to create. I want others to be inspire by my words. The thought that one day I will have my own quote that can resonate within people is a great feeling.
Franklin Neal There are no easy answer but patients is how I deal with writer's block. I do not write on a deadline so I have all the time i need. Another idea is to watch a movie on the subject you are writing. I tend to get inspire with new ideas and implement those ideas in my stories.
