Shani, I want to thank you for sending our Little Free Library a signed copy of your book with such a nice note. I will read it before I share it (one of the joys of being a steward) and I'm sure I will enjoy it. Do you plan to write another book?

Shani Chen Laurie, thank you so much for finding me here and for leaving a message! I so appreciate it and really admire your giving heart for what you're doing. I can really sense your enthusiasm for reading and it's incredible how you're sharing that love with the world. You're a really special person.

To answer your question, yes I do plan (or at least hope) to write another book. I have ideas for about 10 other books! But the one most currently on my mind is a book dedicated to the doormats of the world. I do believe it's their time to shine :)

What is the one message that you would want wives to remember you by?

Shani Chen The one message is this: That women have the power to completely alter the climate of their homes and that they can singlehandedly bring peace to their families, and thus the world. This is a book to empower women to be their highest selves when difficult circumstances call for it. Being a wife often requires the same tenacity and discipline as a nun. May women everywhere step up to fulfill this calling of strength and compassion.

Did they give you a reason for not choosing you?

Shani Chen To my puzzlement, they did not give me a direct answer as to why I could not stay. They just kept stressing that my future would be very bright in America and that I needed to return home. As you can imagine, this answer was not enough to appease me, and I went home heavy hearted, while also determined to keep at my dream.
