B. Forrester The Blood of Olympus, The Complete Oz Books and the Witches of Eileanan
B. Forrester I would travel to the world of Harry Potter, and I probably wouldn't come back :D
B. Forrester Write the story and make a publishing plan. It doesn't matter whether you choose to be traditionally published or indie published, if you have a plan it will make your goals more attainable.
B. Forrester I had the idea in my first year of uni (almost ten years ago :0). I discuss my inspiration for The Kingston Chronicles in this interview with fellow author Nina Smith: http://www.ninasmithauthor.com.au/279...

B. Forrester I try to just write through it. Granted my "writer's block" writing is not my best work but I can always go back and edit it later. It's much easier to edit bad writing than no writing. Someone once told me this but I don't remember who it was. Sometimes I find that turning off my laptop and getting out a notepad makes the writing flow easier. There's something about the physical act of writing that helps me through uninspired moments.
B. Forrester As Meg Cabot said "Getting to work in my pyjamas". But also getting to work from anywhere in the world (although mostly it's just my home office) and getting to tell stories. I've been a bookworm my whole life and my family has a lot of poets in it. Story telling is just something we do in my family.
B. Forrester I am currently working on the sequel to The Kingston Chronicles. The second book in the series is called Samhain Sorcery and focuses on the aftermath from the events in The Kingston Chronicles.
B. Forrester Part of me needs no inspiration. Ideas pop into my head all the time and I feel this physical compulsion to write. The ideas that I stick with though, the ones that I work on can come from lots of places. I get inspired by other authors sometimes, but mostly my inspiration for my own stories come from myths, legends and fairy tales. When I sit down to write though I find that music and incense help me to get into the zone.
