That’s a tough question. One thing is that I can write about the things you were thinking and were afraid to say, whatever that might be.

When I was nearly finished with “The Rules of Time”, the main story line for “The Limits of Time” just hit me. It was so obvious I could have missed it! I made some last minute adjustments to “The Rules of Time” before its release to make “The Limits of Time” tie into it wonderfully. My next book will tie in nicely to both of them.

Sometimes it just helps to go for a quiet walk. You would be surprised what ideas pop up.

I’m building my story for the third part of “The Rules of Time” series. Don’t tell anybody, but the title is “The End of Time”. I expect it to have a similar feel to part two, “The Limits of Time”, which really helped me to find the type of writer I want to be. Expect more of the same type of humor and suspense, with of course even more at stake than part 2, because why not? Due out in 2019.

Write what you would enjoy reading. Think about your own experiences and work your personality into your writing. Just have fun with it. Your attitude about what you are writing will show in your work. Accept feedback from others.

Rather than try to force creativity, I move on to something more productive for a time and return to my work when I am more refreshed. I also may jump to a different place in the story and work on that.
