I was at a party and we were discussing how blasphemy is such an emotive issue in Pakistan. I made a comment how wrong it is for people to be put to death for something as trivial as blasphemy. On hearing, this two "gentlemen" got up and were about to punch me. Thankfully other guests intervened.
On reflection, their conduct should not have surprised me. In Pakistan, people are regularly beaten to death for less.
I was so shaken by this I decided I had to do something. My emotions spilt out into a book.
