E.A. Shanniak I work through it all. If I can't think of something, I dialogue. If I can dialogue then I write. The point is to keep going, keep writing. Sometimes I pretend my dog Minnie is another character and I will talk to her. That also helps me push through a block. Minnie is helpful, she grumbles or barks her responses. And some of my snarkier moments in my books are thanks to her.
E.A. Shanniak You are your own worst enemy. Don't discurage or discredit yourself. You don't know what you're capable of until you just do it. Take that leap, write that book, hit the publish button. Just do it. I used to let my insecurities hold me back. I thought I was nothing. But last year, 06/26/2017 my husband said to me "Baby, I believe in you. Why are you allowing your parents who abused you to still rule your head? I know you can do this." And he was right. I was allowing my parents control my brain, I allowed their callous words to keep me from my dream. And it was wrong. And I was mad at myself. So I submitted Jordie, it got accepted and here I am. So do not be your own worst enemy. Spread your wings, give all the haters the middle finger and soar baby soar!!!
E.A. Shanniak My most recent & available book is Calida's Forge. My idea for this book came from a memory with my father. He used to be a farrier. As a kid, I would always go with him & if I was good, I got to sit on a Clydesdale draft horse named Bart but I always called him Bert. I wanted to base this memory on my book but also add in twists of adventure and romance.

I don't want to give too much away, but Calida is an optimistic loving woman, who is very cheeky.
