I take long walks by myself with my dog. I meditate. I let the information in my head somehow simmer. The best cure for writers' block for me is to "sleep on it". I let the "missing bridge" be and somehow after a day or two, I simply wake up and the answers seem to be there right in my mind's eye. Sleep on it!

I went back to college at age 59 to finish a degree from the University of Florida where I had drop out of in my senior year almost 40 years ago. I was having difficulties with my studies and decided to get tested for learning disabilities. There's where the inward journey began! I tested "off the charts" broken in all kinds of learning disabilities that made it all but impossible to attend a top University like UF. Later I got tested for Childhood trauma, and again tested "off the charts" high. I was supposed to be dead. This is where I realized I was seriously broken and came to the realization that I wasn't alone. We are all a little broken.
