Charlena E. Jackson Willie,

Thank you for your questions!

Thank you so kindly for reading my work! I truly appreciate it! I have started several drafts for Emmanuel's middle school experience. As for Summer, I have started writing a couple of chapters as well. However, I do not know when both books will be completed.

Oh wow, thank you so much! It touched my heart to know I've made someone's life better!

Thank you!
Charlena E. Jackson Lucas,
Thank you kindly for your question. They come from experiences I had in life, or from what I hear or see. Most of the time, after observing a situation I think to myself, why not write about the situation, and turn it into what I think should happen--with the hope it would help others.

Than you for reading my work!
Charlena E. Jackson Thank you, Krissy, for your question. After observing many things in the world today. I feel like more young girls and women need to be Unapologetic for their flaws and all, because we sacrifice so much, and most of the time, it goes unnoticed. I feel like our voices should be heard, because we as women, matters too. Unapologetic for my Flaws and All also came from the idea, we as women, need to love ourselves more and accept ourselves for who we are without seeking approval from other people.
Charlena E. Jackson The idea "No Cross No Crown" came from listening to my grandmother repeating herself over and over again when I was younger. She used to say (and still do until this day), "You must carry your cross in order to earn a crown." I never understood the meaning of "No Cross No Crown" until I started to face all kinds of obstacles and challenges. I then realized, in order to earn my crown I have to carry my cross.

Although, I have carried many crosses throughout my life, I am proud to say, I have earned several crowns as well.

The idea for the subtitle, "Trust God Through the Battle" came about when my agent and I were talking about our challenges in life and how we had to Trust God. We both came up with the idea to add the subtitle "Trust God Through the Battle."

The idea of my recent work "No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle" came from facing my trials in life. I had my ups and downs, yet, I am still standing, because I walked by faith and not my sight.
Charlena E. Jackson My challenges inspired me to write.

I postpone completing my book No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle for the longest- however, I always wrote in my journal (I write in my journal daily). I gathered my trials (good and challenging times) together and completed my book. I figured there were people who were going through the same as I; Maybe someone were going through far worse of a challenge or less. Regardless, I was inspired to write to share my journey with other. With hope- it will change at least one person's life. If I could change one person's life-- then my mission will be accomplished.

I am inspired to write-- because it is my peace and it feels like home.
Charlena E. Jackson I am currently working on two books: Letter to the Father's of the Fatherless children and If I Lose Myself I Lose it all.

I just completed a children's book called "Teacher's Just Don't Understand" (Please do not let the title offend you; the book isn't talking about teachers- I gain the title from my son; and heard him say constantly, "Teachers just don't understand. The bullies always get away with hurting to good kids.") The book is about a fifth grader. His name is Emmanuel; he's been bullied by the same little boy over and over again for years. He tells his story throughout the book. It is an interesting book for children of all ages. Children who sadly were bullied or who are being bullied will relate to Emmanuel's story.

I also recently completed a book called "I'm Speaking Up but You're not Listening." This book is for parents, guardians, teachers and higher authorities. It helps us as the adult to help understand the signs of bully and what to look out for. We hear "silence is golden." However, silence isn't golden when our children voices aren't being heard. We do not want our children to shut down, we want to teach our children to speak up.

"I'm Speaking Up but You're Not Listening Through a Child's Eyes" open our eyes to see that little voices matters and they shouldn't be ignored.

What I like about "I'm Speaking Up but You're not Listening is-- It teaches us to have a solid open (communication) relationship with our children. It helps us as the adult to take a stand for what is right-- When our children has done all they could do-- We, the parents, guardians, teachers, and higher authorities have to step up to the plate and take a stand. Our children voices deserves to be heard, because their voices matters too.
Charlena E. Jackson My advice for aspiring writers is-- never let anyone tell you that your writing is misunderstood. I believe every book touches somebody's life for the good, for the better, and it makes a difference in their life in ways another person wouldn't ever know.

To the aspiring writers keep this in mind----

Writers are unique!!!
Writers are the ones who dare to be different!!!
Writers appreciate a sense of imagination!!!
Writers make the impossible-possible by taking our readers into another world. They will step into a world of peace. They will also step into an adventurous world. Either world they step in-- they will look at life differently.

Aspiring writers-- Keep writing, because your words needs and want to be written for the world to read.

Always remember, if you change at least one person's life by writing-- you have changed the world; and your words will forever life on!
Charlena E. Jackson The best thing about being a writer is-- I can get lost in the world I am creating.

When writing a nonfiction book I can look at the situation in the "present" which of course was created from the past; and think to myself what an adventure!! Nonfiction writing helps me to live and learn from the mistakes that were made.

Writing nonfiction or fiction open my eyes to embrace the world I lived in and living in at the moment.

The best thing about being a writer is getting lost in the words that comes to reality.

The best thing about being a writer is knowing books/writing heals!!
Charlena E. Jackson Hello-

That is a good question- How do I deal with writer's block?

I would take a break from writing to clear my mind. I will either take a stroll in the park, meditate, listen to music or rest.

I always keep a pen and paper handy-- just in case something comes to mind :).
