Bruce L. Hartman Through the Parables and saying of Jesus. I noticed how elegant and simple the language was in all forty five Parables, and that they were seldom discussed. Yet they were a principal communication tool for Jesus. So I constructed the book Jesus & Co. around these words and connected them to contemporary life and business. I was also encouraged by a number of people that because of my background as a successful business person and as a trained Theologian I could help a large number of people.
Bruce L. Hartman The short answer is that my work is inspired by God. The longer answer is my compelling desire to help people in their lives. I have been very fortunate in life and want to help people and walk with people into a brighter future.
Bruce L. Hartman I am currently writing two books. The first is about moving from disappointment to self-determination. It is a collection of stories about inspiring people that are connected to the Gospels and the Exodus story. The book is designed to show how others have move forward with God and their own heroic efforts. The stories are about everyday people overcoming life's obstacles.

The second book is called "365". It is a daily devotional containing a collection of inspiring stories, images and quotes for each day of the year.
Bruce L. Hartman Three pieces of advice. The first is never give up, ever! Keep trying and don't be derailed by disappointment. Always press forward. The second, is write for the the reader, try to inspire, encourage and affirm. The third, if it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. Don't give in to "time" until you have your thoughts on paper that feel right.
Bruce L. Hartman The freedom of expression is the greatest thing about being a writer. There are no excessive rules to burden the writer, as long as we try to express truth and create imagination. Our boundaries are limitless when we think first about how to reach other minds to help them in life.
Bruce L. Hartman I immediately stop trying and go for a walk. During the walk, I work over the ideas in my head and try to slowly piece them together. Often times I found the block is created because I am to focused time and not quality. My greatest block is caused by not taking the time to think through my thoughts.
