John Thomas Hi Mario,
Thanks for writing! The book is available for free in the Kindle store for the next four days. Please go ahead and download it. Happy reading!
John Thomas Thanks for writing to me, Monish :)
The idea that I have tried to convey through the book is something that I have experienced personally. So, if you look at it from that perspective, then, yes, you can say that it is my story to a great extent.

But most of the plot elements that I have used to convey the idea are fictional. Like for example, Maya is totally fictional - I felt that the story really needed someone like her.
Same is the case with Kyra. And Ramesh. And Brijesh. And all the other characters apart from one.

So, to summarize, this book is an attempt at sharing something that I have learned in life through a work of fiction.
I hope this answers your question.
John Thomas I always say this and I will say it again, good writers always have the urge to share something with others.
If you have that urge, you have already taken the first step.
Now, you just have to fulfill that urge by writing it down.
John Thomas I think writer's block is the situation you are in when you are not sure/confident/clear about what you are trying to write.
And because you are not sure/confident/clear, your mind somehow doesn't allow you to write it down.
I avoid this situation by having as much clarity as possible on what I am about the write.
