I'm on an MC Beaton fest at the moment. I am alternating between the Poor Relation series (what a hoot) along with some Hamish Macbeth and Agatha Raisin. Also dipping into Bonfire of the Vanities which I bought on a Kindle Daily Deal day -- remembered I'd already read it by page 2 -- bit well worth a revisit to the 1980s.

Just begin. Start with one word, then a sentence - then hey presto the rest will follow. Get into the flow, don't judge, enjoy yourself. Eventually, you have a book - and it doesn't matter if it takes a month, a year or ten years. Go at your own pace. Only you know what is right (write!) for you.

I don't get writer's block once I've begun - the blocks happen beforehand with endless distraction activities - social media, checking emails and all that paraphernalia. I know I have a severe case of 'putoffitis' when I pick up the vacuum cleaner!
