Get a text-to-speech program on your pc. Make listening to your work part of your editing process. You will catch overused words and breaks in the flow more easily. I listened to AAM dozens of times; each time I noted dozens of flaws that needed to be ironed out. Eventually I had to stop myself. Nothing's perfect.
