I was advising a retired NHL hockey player, and after he secured a new job within about 5 weeks from when we started, he told me how much my advice transformed his life, and urged me to focus on helping retired athletes, a segment of our population that is truly underserved. Instead of a job search book for everyone, I wrote the book to especially help the athletes.
