I listen to music. Believe it or not, it works for me. I listen to everything and just focus on the vocals. The feelings that come through when the singer conveys how they feel in that moment can amaze you. I have cried while listening to lots of songs. For some reason, Sam Smith's voice summons my tears but inspires me to write. If that doesn't work, I take a walk and absorb my surroundings. The feel of the sun, the sound of a bird, anything that pulls me in and draws my attention.

This is a tough one, but I would have to say...creating different worlds that you can be a part of where nothing is right or wrong, everything is exactly as you want it to be.

Oh gosh, write as much as you can. Write about everything. Write through you writer's block. Write through your pain. Write what you want to write and how you want to write it. You will never please everyone. It is your story. Tell it how you want. Use writing as an outlet because eventually, something extraordinary will come out of it. Our imaginations are so powerful.

I am currently working on book 2 for I am Jade. But I also have a few other stories screaming at me to be told. :)

I listen to music. It depends on what genre I am currently writing in. Different genres for me call for different music. For I am Jade, it was a lot of Evanesence and Flyleaf.

I actually got the idea for this book a few years ago on a very cold night while I was outside on the balcony and staring up at a very full moon!
