Maya Daniels Hi Jennifer,

Both books will be available soon on Amazon. Everlasting Fire will go live on January 30th. Due to serious health issues I couldn't publish any of the books at the time when they were scheduled, unfortunately. Now that I'm better, the release dates will be announced on my website, author page and group on facebook. Thank you for your interest, and I apologize for the delay in the stories. Life has a funny way of slowing us down when we don't take care of ourselves.
Maya Daniels Listening to the struggles we as women face in today’s society about the shape of our body or the color of our skin was my main motivation. Living with the idea that we should judge each other in one way or another instead of supporting one another made me write about the sisterhood between the characters in the trilogy. Shame and guilt about who we are, what we want and our sexuality should never be part of our struggles. Each and every one of us is unique and perfect in our imperfections. It’s only human to make mistakes and it’s ok to be an emotional mess at times. I want women to remember that when we are hurting and life brings us on our knees, the fight is not over. It has just begun. That was my motivation and inspiration.
Maya Daniels Life usually has a way to inspire me in a good or a bad way. I love observing people and analyzing their thoughts, comments, behaviors...Also I love mythology and the mystery they hide between the lines. So many stories are getting forgotten and I’m trying to bring them back in a more modern way. I personally find it easier to change my perspective on things when reading about it in a light story rather then a text book. Implementing the ancient wisdom and teachings in fantasy stories has an interesting way of sticking with the readers subconscious. It makes us remember what we have forgotten.
Maya Daniels I’m writing the last book of the trilogy “The Vessel” while trying very hard not to start a new story that will not allow me to give it my undivided attention it deserves.
Maya Daniels Don’t give up on your dream. Fear has no place in it and it’s the only thing stopping you from putting yourself out there. Being afraid of judgment and rejection is what stops us I believe. Remembering that we can’t be everyone’s cup of tea should help with that. People have different tastes when it comes to reading and writing styles and your readers are out there waiting to discover the stories you hold in your heart. It’s not easy. I would lie if I say it is. But in the long run it’s definitely worth it! Don’t ever give up! Perseverance and determination are essential to live out your passion.
Maya Daniels For me it’s the opportunity to tell all the stories that are going through my head on repeat lol Meeting wonderful people that enjoy reading as much as I do as well. Having others travel the worlds I write about and connect with the characters is beautiful since those characters in a way are part of me.
Maya Daniels I usually paint or meditate. Listening to flutes takes my mind away from the stress of “why there are no words coming” while I stare at my screen. I have those moments a lot. Also leaving it for the day without putting pressure on yourself seems to do wonders with removing the blocks.
