Brie Lajada Creating. Being able to create something you love and something others could love.
Brie Lajada I was reading a book and it mentioned a women in a cell. Then I started thing what would a epic gate look like on a cell? What would the women look like? What is she? Why is she there? How is she there? Before I knew it I created a world with multiple races and ocean crossing war and running. Stars Like Fate did change a lot from my original thoughts. The cell is no longer a cell but a self imposed cage. The princess is not weak and helpless. Character traits changed and New characters took lead roles.
Brie Lajada Just write. Even if you can't every day at least act like you are going to write everyday. If you are stuck or upset just write. If you have writers block just write. Writing is my answer to everything but be prepared to become dependent on it. I'm at a point that I can no longer go with out writing or I freak out.
Brie Lajada Book two to the Stars Like Fate Series. "Stars Like Sacrifice"

I also have the second draft for a stand alone waiting to be read and edited.
Brie Lajada Music and reading for sure. Most of my creative inspiration kick in while listening to music. Some really good books will get me itching to create.
