Hi Mike, Wow, its wonderful to hear from you. It sure has been a long time. Thank you very much. I hope to be able to get to several places in Ohio to market the book. However, for medical reasons, I don't drive anymore, so it will take some planning. Half-Price Books here in Columbus is going to let me a have a table for some book signings, and I imagine there are some Half-Price Bookstores in Columbus. One of the historical characters, Gen. William Lytle is from Cincinnati, so I would like to get some publicity on that. I have a personal Facebook page, if you want to hit me up, or if you have one. Or, if you could send me your contact info through Michael on FB, for a little more privacy. Its really great to hear from you. I hope you're doing well.

Inspiration is fairly easy, staying focused is not.

I'm plotting a prequel to How Can A Man Die Better, covering the 2nd Seminole War, Black Seminoles on the Trail of Tears, the capture and recovery of Cynthia Ann Parker, and the Comanche Wars, 1830 to 1860 in Florida, Texas, and Ohio in which Pete Caballo will be the protagonist. However, my next project is a hard-boiled noir shamus tale in 1949 Los Angeles, about Harry Anslinger, first head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, and his crusade against marijuana, Billy Holiday and other Black jazz musicians.

Music, usually jazz for creativity, or putting my work aside and going for a long walk. I always have a few stacks of books around to read, and sometimes that will spark an idea.
