My book was only published a few weeks ago, so I'm working on publicity with that project. I expect to be fully engaged with this for at least a year before beginning another book.

Focus on completion before focusing on perfection. It should be your primary goal to slog to the finish line rather than to think you can edit and perfect as you go. It's important to embrace that you will not get it right the first time. Also, identify your inner psychological risks. You may find it emotionally risky to "put it out there" and to experience rejection. Once you've identified these risks and fears, know that your job is to be courageous against them.
Also, procrastination takes on many names. Sometimes it can be disguised as hard work, research, networking, education, etc. There's no substitute for the gluteus maximus principle ... you put your butt in the chair and keep it there.
