I take a step back and try to distract myself with other things, like housework or I listen to my favorite music. It's the perfect mental break and it allows me to recharge my batteries. Or sometimes I discuss my writing frustrations with friends and they talk me through my problems, and help me figure things out from a different perspective.

Writing has always been a true passion of mine, so I get inspired from a lot of stuff such as things that happen in my real life, or just a random idea that comes to me late at night, or I can even even draw inspiration from music or from a certain song.

I got the idea for "MY BROTHER'S KEEPER" because of a conversation I had with an old friend. She was in a very toxic and co-dependent relationship and that inspired me to write first chapter, and the premise grew from there.
