Don't hesitate. Don't doubt yourself. Look for tools and hone your gifts. Likely, your first and even second book/project ideas won't make it past the first few stages. The important thing is that you keep pushing yourself. When you sit with a completed, messy first draft, you will have suceeded. It only gets better.

I got the idea for The Kelpie of Ivory when I visited Tintern Abbey in Wales! It is such a beautiful place, and I knew I needed to use it as a setting. The book developed from there!
