Chris Bridge Lovely to hear from you. Sorry to be so long answering. I've taken a break from this site. I was also born in Hull!! so same name and same City for family births. Probably my best work is Back Behind Enemy Lines. But I have just published the third book in my Long Lost Trilogy.
Chris Bridge My life is fairly straightforward so I've never been tempted to be autobiographical. The only mysteries might involve understanding myself.
Chris Bridge Only one without an ending. Donald Trump has been elected as President of the United States. It might happen again in 2020.
Chris Bridge Erewhon, the fictional world created by Samuel Butler in 1872 where people are jailed for getting physically ill but treated sympathetically for bouts of theft, fraud and murder. It seems more relevant that ever. I'd look around, check out if offending can be cured. The title is nowhere backwards.
Chris Bridge Like many other authors I need to write. Words have always moved me, so, from a very early age I wrote my own poems and then short stories. Teaching gave little time for writing so I waited until I retired to start a novel. That one, not very good and unpublished, was inspired by my life as a Headteacher. It must be easier to write when you are older because you have so much more experience to draw on. Different ideas feed into each novel.
