I have always loved France and I lived there for a year while completing my French degree. I wanted to be a nurse before I realized that I wasn't keen on the sight of blood. I am still interested though in how people have been medically treated and cared for in the past 100 years.

I am currently researching the sequel to The Girl on the Bike, and also thinking about what content will go into book 3. My books are working on a historical timeline in this series, so that is important to get right.

If I feel that I am running out of ideas, I go back to doing some research, before going back to my writing again, I make notes in a book I have, just for this purpose, and I use colour to highlight different events.
