Being a Star Wars Expanded Universe fan, I'd say Yavin IV (home of the Rebel base in the original Star Wars movie). When it's not under attack by the Empire or ancient undead Sith lords, it's a quiet, peaceful world with lots of wilderness and forest and very little of anything else.

I view it as a productive outlet for otherwise unproductive daydreaming. And it's a good break from my day job as a software/support engineer. After a day of dealing with dry requirements lists and bland standards documents from decades ago, it's fun to slip away and write about another universe, one with lots of room for creativity.

There are a couple different ways I deal with writer's block. If I still feel like writing, I'll switch stories or plotlines and try to continue work elsewhere. I intend to expand "Rescue at Waverly" into a six-novel series so if I'm only blocked on a specific detail, there's plenty of other work to be done.
Otherwise, I'll just hang up writing for several weeks at a time, which isn't too hard because I am employed full-time and writing is just a little side gig for me. If I don't do any writing for three or four weeks, I find that I have all kinds of fresh ideas and perspectives when I return, which is pretty helpful for working past a previous block or writing myself out of a problem I accidentally created and wasn't sure how to correct.

I'm currently working on writing sequels to "Rescue at Waverly." I plan to expand it into a story arc of six novels. Right now, my main focus is on the second novel of the series, but I've been working ahead and have written some key scenes in all six novels to ensure consistency and make sure I understand the direction I'm going in.
