Stick with it, always be willing to learn, and look at criticism as a good thing. Book conferences are a fantastic way to learn the craft. I have made some awesome friends from attending conferences (friends who have taught me to shoot guns, ride ATV's, and introduced me to salsa dips!). Even when you think you know something, a refresher class or lecture always comes in handy.

A nice, normal thriller set in London. That's all I'm saying on that.

I think about scenes a lot prior to writing them. In fact, they are constantly in my head - when I am out with friends, running the kids about, driving, even trying to sleep. I am chomping at the bit to write them when the time finally arrives :-)

My most recent book, The Undoing, is actually the final chapter in the Hunted trilogy. They have been years in the making, kicking off when my Aussie friend, Natalie Joppich, asked me to write a screenplay with her. Fast-forward many LA trips and meetings later and the HUNTED novels were born.
