I write daily, regardless. How do my stories get inspired? Usually some wild thought that pops into my head during everyday activity. That one wild thought is like an ember and if it catches the rest of my brain on fire, I might have something.

Right now I'm in the second editing phase of a book called "Days of the Phoenix." I've gotten some great feedback on it and I'm doing the second round of adjustments.
I am working on the conception of another book, and I have no idea what its about; I never do until a plot sits on my lap. That is exactly how "Broken Promise Records" and "Days of the Phoenix" were written.

If you want to write, then do it. Commit word to page and worry about the other stuff later. I often hear people say "I could never do that," without ever having tried. If the story is in you, let it out!

That I get to live several different lives while still being able to enjoy the one I was given ...does that make sense? The creative journey.

Momentum. I have gotten into the habit of sitting down and writing two thousand words in a sitting; I can either type out my two thousand words and move on to other projects, or I can suffer. I have found that I am the most free when I let my fingers fly and the practice of a word quota opens up the creative channels.
