I’m working on edits for book 3 and 4 of Dial 323 LOVE with my editor. I also started writing a new standalone novel at the beginning of January…the concept for which I’ve had marinating in the back of my mind for about a year. As much as I truly enjoyed writing a series, I doubt I will write another. All the book ideas currently in the shoot are standalones.

My mom…as weird as that is. In 2014 I had this wild idea that I was going to become a screenwriter (in Indiana with zero connections) and started entering a bunch of contests. It was a contest for ABC I believe that asked for an original pilot spec. I asked my mom what she’d like to see a TV show about. I can’t remember what term she used—gigolos, male hookers, escorts—but yeah. Something about that suggestion clicked because petty soon I had an entire series envisioned in my mind. In 2015 I took those ideas and started to write them in book form. I’ve also always been a little enamored with Heidi Fleiss. I didn’t base Maggie off of Heidi, but Heidi did start my fascination with madams.
