Much of my adult life people have told me, "You should write a book," and I thought I either didn't have enough to say or nobody would want to read it. Then I got divorced. During that incredibly difficult time, I learned some life lessons and felt compelled to share them with others. After tearing up my victim card, I started writing not about what happened in my marriage but about healing from what happened. Healing from loss is a long, slow journey, and we all need help along the way.
