Reviews! If I get 30 reviews and 5 people are loving my book I'm happy. Everybody isn't going to be like "masterpiece" and that's ok. But I truly find it a blessing to be able to have someone relate and enjoy my work.

Just do it! If its a passion and you love it, make it happen. Like with most professions if your heart isn't really in it than it will not work. I would love to make writing a full time career, but I honestly just do it because I'm good at it and I enjoy the process. True story

A book about a Femme Fatale. She is going to be what people deem timid and submissive but once she is pissed off the old she comes back and just when people thought they could get over on her and kill her spirit, she is coming back with a vengeance for blood. It has some mystery mixed in as well. Its a doozy

Ive been writing for way longer than Ive been reading. I started writing at around nine years old. I would share my stories and get positive feedback, so I wrote a novella that I never even tried to publish because when I got older I realized it wasn't what I was interested in any more. I stopped writing for a long time I think I had writers block lol. When I finally put fingers to the keyboard again, The Middle Building on Treemont Ave just flowed. I'm mostly inspired by my imagination because I daydream all damn day!

I just started writing and it came to me. I knew I wanted to write about four women with status. I didn't want to write another hood book. They are so in demand I know, but because of that there are so many of them with the same story lines. I needed it to be urban, definitely about black women, but have a little more substance.
