Thank you for reaching out. Just sent you an email a few minutes ago. At the moment I am not working on anything new but maybe in the future. A review of Need Direction? Ask God or Through the Eyes of a Fisherman would be great. I will send you a paperback or eBook at your request. Regarding your question--I initially started writing to recount my life experiences for my family, but soon realized the greater purpose was to share with others the Biblical principles that directed my life.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Dennis Blue Great question. My 3 books have attempted to address that very question--the mystery of God's will in my life. As my faith in Christ grows stronger, the Holy Spirit has increased my understanding of God's will. My faith has become reality. The plot of my next book will expand on continuing to grow in spiritual wisdom and a personal relationship with Christ. Thanks for your question.

How do you get inspired to write?
Dennis Blue My inspiration comes from telling the story of how God placed his hand on a young farm boy and guided him throughout his life. Everyone has a story to tell, what is yours?

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Dennis Blue Don't give up and be patient. Seek out advice from blogs, other writers, associations and if possible professional writing help.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Dennis Blue Keep writing. Write whatever comes to mind related to your subject, a sentence, paragraph or page. It will begin to make sense.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Dennis Blue As a non-fiction writer, bringing people, places and things to life through the written word. Sharing my own real life experiences with my readers to educate, inspire and encourage them to achieve their potential and purpose in life.

What are you currently working on?
Dennis Blue A sequel to my first book Running the Good Race, recounting my second career as a charter captain fishing Michigan, Florida, Alaska, Bahamas, Mexico and Central and South America. Should be out the summer of 2018, haven't decided on a title yet.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Dennis Blue From my daughter Luanne who wanted me to date and identify old photos so family and friends wouldn't be forgotten by future generations. A year and a half later I was working on publishing my book.
