Casia Pickering The greatest mystery for me would have to be that I do not know much about the Filipino part of my family. I have a family tree, but I don't know the cultural stories or area outside of Hawaii. I actually plan on adding more about the Filipino folklore and culture into my writing as I learn. I'm pretty sure I will have a character who is me in that regard.
Casia Pickering Ummm... I can't really say. Sometimes I do the "what if" thing, but mostly it just hits me. Showers help most of the time. Ultimately though, I try not to look for inspiration. I just write and sometimes I'll get hit by that train.
Casia Pickering What isn't? Honestly, this has been my dream since I was 2 or 3. I can't imagine doing anything else. This is how I breathe and bleed. Just ask my dad, he's told me to get a hobby that isn't writing or reading... I'm still trying!
Casia Pickering Be Annoyingly Determined. I can proudly say that this is one of my favorite traits. Think about those annoying anime characters that everyone loves to hate or really love: Goku from DBZ or Naruto from Naruto. They both have this inane ability to keep going despite the outside pressures. When someone tells them they can't, they get angry and do it anyways. Be that person. Ignore the outside and inner haters and just go for it. Be Annoyingly Determined.

But also read and write. You can't really be a writer without those two things too.
Casia Pickering I don't. I basically write a little bit or a lot. I try not to get pulled into the idea that I can't write. When I can't write, it's usually that I'm too stressed or depressed and that's when I need to write the most. So, I write something silly or outrageous and then go back to what I was doing.
Casia Pickering I am currently writing a story for another anthology by Crazy Ink Press. I don't want to get into it, but it is a King Arthur retelling and I am definitely doing something other than your typical boy/girl with a sword.
Casia Pickering Well, technically the summer has passed as of me answering. So, I will say what will be on my hopeful summer list for 2020: I have no clue. lol I am a mood reader.
Casia Pickering See now, that is a tough one. There are too many worlds. I think I would like to be in one of those fictional worlds where I am able to travel past the confines. Like, Doctor Who with the TARDIS or a book world where a reader can get sucked into any world they read. It gives me options. lol
Casia Pickering No one understands how cold it is. This body is too warm to leave.
