I am a firm believer in the power of plodding. Given the very limited time in my day for writing, I simply slog on and put something, anything, down. I keep at it until the crisis has passed. Then, I revisit, and very often, rewrite. Although it seems tedious, this system works for me because I get something useful out of it.
