K.S. Lewis I re-read old favorites, and most of the time they are young adult novels. I try to place myself back into a time when the world was simpler, and that for me was when I was a teenager, reading Twilight or House of Night novels in my spare time and when my biggest worry was how I was going to get the next book in a series.
K.S. Lewis I find inspiration from reading, as most writers do. I really enjoy reading articles or columns from small town newspapers or magazines because they really dig deep into details. In small towns, everyone knows everybody and everybody wants to know everything (not always because there's nothing to do, but us small towners are just generally nosy).
K.S. Lewis I am currently working on a story about a corn maze killer, who uses the Halloween season as their playground. The story is more focused on the killer, who they are as a person, and why they do what they do because I feel like there isn't enough of those stories out there.
K.S. Lewis The younger side of me would want to jump into Harry Potter solely to visit Honeyduke's.

The adult/every-day me would live in Castle Rock, Maine.
K.S. Lewis It's fine to write things that aren't for yourself, like for work, jobs, etc. However, never stop writing for yourself even if it's five minutes every other day. At the end of the day, you're stuck with yourself and what you have/haven't done.
